My name is Danielle Begnaud. I'm a designer living, working, and studying in New York City. I've worked for companies in Texas, Missouri, and New York designing products, exhibits, and landscapes.
I hold a BA in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin. I'm currently working towards my Master's Degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. My passion for incorporating fun and play into design takes into account how people of all ages view and interact with my products. Inspiring people to be curious and use their imagination is a key motivator in my design work.
My design process also relies heavily on research. I'm currently working on my graduate thesis project, where I am co-designing a set of generative toys with children ages 7 to 13. Over the past year, I've been working closely with a group of 8 kids in order to design a set of toys to spark imagination and creative play.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy bird watching, hiking, and folklore.
