My name is Danielle Begnaud. I'm a multi-disciplinary designer based in New York City. My practice - through my personal work at Benyo Studio and my staff toy designer position at BARK - focuses on designing joyful experiences for animals, children, and the young at heart. Spanning toy and game design, collaborative design practices, as well as writing and illustrating children’s books, my work encourages people to carve out space for gratitude, laughter and light in everyday life. I have partnered with organizations in New York City, Texas, Missouri, India, Vietnam and England to design toys, products, and exhibits. I have also presented my work and research in international forums in Europe and the United States. I hold a Master's Degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin. Awards
