The Compost Play Set was designed to introduce young minds to composting in the hopes that they will become familiar with the concept of composting and a circular consumption mindset. The set contains a compost container and four simple fruit and veggie puzzles. For toddlers ages 1 to 4, this play set offers hours of puzzle making and pretend play.

Made of injection molded elastomeric bioplastic mixed with wildflower seeds, all parts of the play set will biodegrade in a composting environment or when planted in the ground.
When the child has outgrown the toy, around 4 or 5 years old, families have the opportunity to have a conversation about the life cycle of a toy, engage their children in a discussion about composting, and experience the planting process together. After planting the pieces in the ground, families also have the opportunity to care for the plants that grow from the toy together.
