Plasket
Plasket is a bicycle basket made of plastic grocery bags and a wire coat hanger armature constructed around solar-powered LED lighting.
Through interviews and research, it came to my attention that cyclists have up to 8 attachments on their bicycles and around 5 extra items to carry with them. I wanted to design a bicycle attachment that would consolidate this extra bicycle luggage while promoting healthy and sustainable behavior.

Plasket is easily detachable, solar-powered storage that acts as a bike light, a water bottle holder, as well as storage for keys, wallets, and other items.
Not only does Plasket combine multiple bike attachments and encourage bicycle transportation, the use of commonly discarded materials in its production gives new life to two very prevalent landfill materials.
