SEISMA
Layers of the Earth
The four layers of the Earth had been joined together for 4.5 billion years. All of a sudden, the Crust, Mantle, Outer Core, and Inner Core separate from each other. They are very confused and unsure what happened.
They slowly learn that aliens have moved into their galaxy and they are building new space stations there. The technology the aliens are using to build is interfering with all of the planets’ ability to keep their layers joined together.
The four layers initially try to join back together, through seismic waves initiated by the Inner Core, but it only works for a few minutes before they are separated again. Each layer has to learn how to be independent and how to control their individual powers. Through teamwork and the utilization of their unique personalities, the four layers of the Earth attempt to get rid of the aliens so that all of the planets can return to their whole selves again.
The Crust is the smart, tall, thin, leader of the group. She has certain areas on the body that are more sensitive than others. The dense areas (blue) are very strong and can be replaced quickly. The sensitive areas (green) are less dense and take a long time to recover. The crust is much more blue than green. Being the leader and having regenerative capabilities, she is very protective of the other layers of the group.
The Mantle is a huge, strong character that moves very slowly. The mantle is very sweet and loving and has trouble navigating with her size. She often scares others that she wants to befriend. She never gets mad, but whenever she is sad, her tectonic plates start to move and everything around her starts to shake and vibrate. It’s hard to get her to calm down when she is upset and the shifting of her tectonic plates often reveals the group’s location, attracts unwanted visitors, or makes people run away, etc.
The Outer Core is kind of a bleh character. She never moves very quickly or gets too excited or mad about anything. She kind of has a boring personality. She can move things with her magnetically charged hands and can fit into weird places because she can morph into liquid.
The Inner Core is the smallest and youngest layer. She is a round character that is always super stressed out. She has extreme anxiety, is quickly scared, and very skittish. She is the only layer that can create the seismic waves to signal to the other layers to join back together as Earth. She can also shoot out solid balls of iron from her body.
